15-Day DL

Erick Aybar (Hand Contusion)- Aybar has returned from his minor league rehab, as of August 6th. On Wednesday the 8th he went 3-for-3 with a walk and two steals, and on the day before, he singled in his only at-bat. He is picking up where he left off in AAA where he went 4-for-12 with 2 runs scored, 2 runs batted in, and two bases stolen.

Howie Kendrick (Broken Left Index Finger, out since July 8th)- Howie has been cleared to play catch and do various other baseball related activities, though is still approximately two weeks from returning. Maicer has been extremely average in Kendrick's absence, hitting .279 with 9 runs, 11 RBI, 1 steal, and 2 homers.

Bartolo Colon (Right Elbow Irritation, out since July 24th)- Colon is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Friday, August 10th, or in other words, today. He is supposed to make some rehab starts before ascending to the majors once again, and there is no timetable for his return, but hopefully when a timetable does show up, he will be way in the future (unless he can figure out how to pitch like the old Bartolo)

60-Day DL

Juan Rivera (Recovery From Broken Leg, out since a very long time ago)- Juan Rivera could potentially be ready for a minor league rehab assignment as soon as next week, and is expected to return to the majors sometime in September. Lyle Spencer of the Angels official site said something about him being 'used off the bench' if he returns in September.
