Weaver made his major league debut on May 27th of last year, just a couple days away from being a full year. It was a great turn-around for the Angels, as they are 97-65 since the day of his debut. In that time, Weaver has faced the Yankees once, when he pitched a six inning, one run game. Tyler Clippard pitched very well in his major league debut against the Mets on Sunday. Today, the Angels teach him that the big leagues aren't as easy as he thinks.
